Gladstone Track Temporary Closure – High water levels damage bridge

Following on from heavy rain during the last week of August which consequently resulted in high lake levels, the Gladstone Track which forms a critical part of our Ultimate Wanaka Experience ride is currently blocked from the John Creek Carpark end. Whilst it is still possible to ride the Gladstone Track from the Hawea lakefront end, the complete trail is not currently passable on a bike. This track also forms the Te Aroha Trail. We expect the track to be closed until sometime in November,
