With trips available for all ages and abilities, we provide bike hire and transport to the start of your adventure, as well as local knowledge on everything there is to discover along the way. This ride most bang for your buck of any bike trip in Wanaka, this is our most popular ride! We shuttle you from downtown Wanaka to the neighbouring lakeside town of Hawea. Grab a coffee before setting out on the Hawea River Track, an easy riverside amble set in mountainous surroundings. You’ll pass by Albert Town, where refreshments can be picked up before continuing along the mighty Clutha River towards its source at Lake Wanaka. A picturesque lakeside trail will lead you back to Wanaka township, where ice cream and #thatwanakatree await.

We shuttle you to the start of the trail network and after a short trail briefing, you’re off!
To begin with, we have Deans Bank which is a fantastic 11 km cross-country loop with incredible views set in majestic mountain surroundings.
Enjoy views of the mighty Clutha River via the Hikuwai Loop, ride a network of fun flowing trails in the renowned ‘Sticky Forest’, and enjoy a gentle short lakeside cruise to finish. And did we mention there’s a locals’ favourite cafe along the way?
